Archivist of Time Details
Archivist of Time is an incredibly complex but rewarding combo mage class, casting from a huge library of spells based on the order you cast your abilities in. Combinations of your three indices result in spells that can either deal damage, buff your damage, or buff your survivability, leading to 9 possible combinations. You can even temporarily share your buffs with your teammates! Due to how complex this class can be, these design notes will be more informative than usual.
Description: The Archivist serves as the observer of the flow, holding the power to revise timelines as they deviate.
Stat Model: Offensive Caster
Mana Regen: Archivists fully restore their mana upon using the Lorebook of Beginnings.

This is your starting ability for your combos. Begin with casting Lorebook of Beginnings, then cast two of your second, third, or fourth abilities in any order to create one of 9 combination spells.
Also, this class does not have an autoattack, instead simply having five skills.

The First Index: This skill deals increased damage
The Second Index: Acutance - +50% Crit Chance for 12s
The Third Index: Fortification - +75% END & -25% mana costs for 12s
The Second Index

The First Index: Splotched - DoT based on your target's current HP percentage for 6s
The Second Index: Vehemency - +30% Physical & Magical Damage for 12s
The Third Index: Resiliency - +50% Damage Resistance for 12s
The Third Index
Rank needed: 3
Target: Enemy
Max Targets: 1
Type: 50% Magical
Range: Infinite
Mana Cost: 40
Cooldown: 1.5 seconds
Peer into the library of time, invoking the Third Index if you've Inscribed Lore, which is used to apply protection spells. Applies a different effect based on your currently active Index.
The First Index: Page Turned - Every successive Lorebook of Beginnings does more damage for 24s
The Second Index: Superpower - +30% INT/STR & 15% Luck for 12s
The Third Index: Rewind - HoT for 12s
These three skills are your indices, which are used to create your 9 spell combinations.
After using Lorebook of Beginnings, use one of these three skills to invoke an Index, determining what type of spell you're going to cast. The First Index is used to create damaging spells, The Second Index is used to create enchanting spells, and The Third Index is used to create defensive spells. Once you have an Index, the next of these three skills you use will apply a different thematic effect based on the Index you've just chosen. For example, invoking The First Index, then using The Second Index would apply a DoT to your opponent, but invoking The Second Index, then using The First Index would increase your Crit Chance.
For reference, here are all of the possible ways to create a spell combination, following the use of Lorebook of Beginnings:
(2 - 2) This skill deals increased damage
(2 - 3)Splotched - DoT based on your target's current HP percentage for 6s
(2 - 4) Page Turned - Every successive Lorebook of Beginnings does more damage for 24s

Rewrite the fabric of time, recasting your previously used spells. Refreshes the duration of all active Index buffs on yourself while granting them to your allies for 12 seconds.
This is a very powerful spell that not only refreshes the duration of most of your active Index buffs, but also shares them with your allies*. This spell is not one that can be used often however, as it is on a long cooldown, so finding the right time to cast it is key.
*Certain damage based effects from The First Index are not refreshed or shared.

Conclusion
Archivist of Time is a blend of scaling damage with a side of support. It's a difficult to master class, requiring memorization in order to pull off different sequences of spells. Certain spells are quite important and should be active at all times, such as Page Turned.
The spellbooks and spell combinations are organized so that damaging spells start with one Index, damage buffs with another, and defensive buffs with the last. To use the class, you’ll be opening with Lorebook of Beginnings, then performing a combination of Indices which may change based on the situation you're in. With 9 different spell combinations comes quite a bit of versatility, but knowing what to use and when will be the key to success and mastering the class.
