AdventureQuest: A Legacy

The AdventureQuest title has been the legacy of Artix Entertainment since it's founding game, AdventureQuest (Classic). Since then, we have created AdventureQuest Worlds, AdventureQuest 3D, and we have AdventureQuest 2D (AQW Mobile) on the way. The original AdventureQuest lore is rebooted in each game and is expanding in different ways.

AdventureQuest, also called AdventureQuest Classic, is our founding game. Artix created this single-player, 2D Flash RPG for his friends in 2002 and then released it to the public in hopes that others would enjoy it as much as he did. AdventureQuest is still updated weekly, has monthly events, and thousands of dedicated players.

AdventureQuest Worlds took the AdventureQuest title to new heights in 2008. This version is an MMORPG (Massively multiplayer online role-playing game) with all new characters, bosses, and stories to explore!

AdventureQuest 3D is the newest iteration of the AdventureQuest name. It was brought to life by the Artix Entertainment community through our AQ3D Kickstarter 2016. AQ3D is our first 3D game, a cross-platform MMORPG, meaning that it can be played on your computer, phone, tablet and iPad. It's still in Early Access, available on Steam, Google Play, and Apple Store.

AdventureQuest 2D (also known as AdventureQuest Worlds Mobile) will be the cross-platform successor of AdventureQuest Worlds. Our goal is for AQW account holders to be able to easily transfer their account names and most of their cosmetic items to the new game. It will still be a new experience for everyone but on a much larger scale. Due to the way technology is rapidly changing, we have been experimenting with ways to make it a stable gaming platform, and to handle content carried over from AdventureQuest Worlds (instead of completely remaking everything).  We can't wait until it's ready for player testing!

Still Updating!

All of our released AdventureQuest games are updated weekly (from day one!). You can read the latest news on their homepages, Artix.com, and on the Artix Entertainment Game Launcher 2.0
