Ahoy! Pirates, swashbucklers, and seadawgs alike... now's th' time to loot and pillage in preparation for th' Talk Like a Pirate Day event on September 15th. Log in this weekend as all our SEA-sonal pirate events return, along with our Brasil Independence Day maps. Plus, Bev's Battleontown Hair Shop received a boatload of new hairs for you to check out.

Did you see that streak of red in the stars? That was left behind by the Hydra's Hark after its crew and Commander, Gallaeon, plundered one of Empress Gravelyn's fortresses, attacking from the sky. She sent one of her DoomKnights to bring Gallaeon to heel, and if you help him battle the crew + captain, he's got orders to let you pillage 'til your pack can't hold anymore rewards.
Commander Gallaeon & Crew Challenge
After you defeat Gallaeon in /doompirate, take him and his entire crew on at once. This nine mob challenge might be difficult to overcome, but if you are victorious enough times, you can earn Dusk's DoomTech DoomKnight armor, a house guard, and the Shadowscythe Pirate Warship house for yourself!
If you have the ShadowScythe Pirate Commander Upgrade Bonus pack, you've automatically unlocked a version of the house with a color-customization room!)

If you haven't checked out our other seasonal Talk Like a Pirate Day events yet, /join septhub (our September event hub town) to find all our seasonal Talk Like a Pirate Day maps, birthday NPCs, and battle for loot, booty, and adventy-ARRRRR!
Head to /Mythperception Island in Terra da Festa and talk to Batista, the Folklore Spinner. He's got a new tale to tell: the legend of the Boto Cor Rosa! Battle the Boto Cor Rosa to collect all new reward drops, plus gather Pink Gems of the Sea to create the Pastel Privateer set in Batista's merge shop.
Then take on the bosses in /iara and /ultraiara to earn merge shop resources to create epic new reward items themed after Iara's tail (er... tale).
Good news: The hair shop update with a selection of new hairs/beards is live now!
Temporarily-less-good news: The male armor art for Dusk's DoomTech DoomKnight armor is done; the female is in progress still. I needed to delay that and the helms / morphs due to the hurricane + and an unplanned oral surgery.
I dont want to sugar-coat things; this delay was really unfortunate... and that's the tooth. We'll bridge the gap with more gear ASAP. The female armor will be added first, and I am planning to add a batch of helms next week.
