Step carefully, hero; you’re about to enter one of Lore’s most hauntingly cozy fortresses. From ancient death gods to cuddly critters, this sprawling sanctuary hides danger behind beauty, and fluff behind fangs. This is the House of Moths (and Dragons~!) built by Aliesterus… and, if you're lucky, you’ll make it out with your GPU intact.

Wow, what a welcoming committee! The moment you arrive at the House of Moths, you’ll be greeted by two shimmering dragons, their scales sparkling like a cosmic disco. But in order to enter the ~real~ party, you’ll need to make it past the bulking bouncers, aka giant Zorbak mechs, aka BOGOdrone Prime Guards! Danger and delight await past the threshold, for those brave enough to enter…
As soon as you make your way inside, you’ll see Leanan Sidhe, an enchanting guardian with deadly motives. But she’s not alone! Flanked by the Shadow of Vengeance, the duo provides enough of a distraction for the Shadowseer to do what Shadowseers do best:

Your survival at this point depends largely on your intentions (and your ability to not be seduced or backstabbed). No pressure, you got this.
Things don’t calm down in the Throne Room. On the contrary, you’ll find:

What lies beyond the throne is a portal to another realm — a dimension that houses Aliesterus' treasure room. But don’t expect to waltz in and grab a shiny trinket.

Inside the vault, you’ll witness treasures — and lag! — beyond your wildest dreams. Should you ~and~ your PC survive, you’ll witness:
According to Aliesterus, this room “is locked in a separate dimension where shiny things and items too dangerous to be left unchecked are stored.” So if the guards don’t kick you out, then the lag just might 🤣
Tucked away in the far room is an unfinished bedroom... part private sanctuary, part Darkon Memorial. This room is seasoned with cute critters, from moths to plushies to even… um, the remains of Sepulchure? Perhaps this is an unspoken signal that the more adorable things get, the more lethal the defenses & decorations become?
Originally intended to be a humble treasure vault, the House of Moths grew so elaborate it’s earned a new nickname: the Toaster Fryer 9000. Aliesterus says the place lags even the bravest computers into oblivion.
“I just kept adding stuff,” Aliesterus said, “and it eventually started affecting performance. And then I kept going.” HA! Love the crazy commitment, Aliesterus!
With a self-made hologram system, cross-dimensional vaults, and a defensive lineup that could rival the Queen of Monsters herself, this home isn’t just a palace… it’s a PC performance test 🤣
