It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Heroes and game devs alike gather ‘round the realms to celebrate joy, generosity, and, perhaps most importantly of all… dessert! This Frostval, we’re inviting YOU to bring the magic of our games into your IRL kitchen with the return of our sweetest tradition:
The Artix Entertainment Creative Cookie Contest!
Bake ~anything~ from ~any~ AE game! We’re talking cookies, cakes, cupcakes, cakepops, literally any tasty treat inspired by the rich world of Lore. Maybe you’ll make Moglin macaroons, a Red (Velvet) Dragon cake, Undead Legion lollipops, or anything in-between!
Your kitchen is your battleground. Your apron is your armor. Your spatula is your sword. And your dessert signals sweet, sweet victory!
Let your imagination run wild as you serve up your creative confectionery creation for the world to see ~and~ for you to eat (although I would’t mind having a nibble…or like 12, tehehe).
Anything delicious and dessert-y is welcome, so long as it’s from your favorite Artix Entertainment game(s)!
Ideas include:
* Your favorite NPC
* Your least favorite NPC
* A beloved monster
* The most nostalgic weapon
* A derp dessert (derp-sert?)
* Everyone’s favorite Moglin… which is obviously Twilly. No, Twig! No, Zorbak!! Or whoever your fave is (even if you make one up)
1. Open to all bakers of any skill level
2. Your game account(s) must be in good standing in order to win a prize
3. Desserts must be edible, homemade, and AE-themed
4. Work in Progress photos are 100% required
5. Multiple entries allowed and encouraged!

Ends: Sunday, January 3, 2026, at 11:59pm EST (Florida time)
We’re awarding thousands of Artix Points* AND granting our top winners the Gingerbread Cookie Sword for their game character in AQ, DF, AQW, ED, or AQ3D!

*If a winner does not have an Artix Entertainment portal account, their Artix Points prize will the microcurrency equivalent for their game character.
This year, we’re focusing the contest on YOUR real culinary creativity. That means:
1. Your dessert MUST be homemade
Your creation(s) must be made by you, or a family member/friend directly working with you
(example: that AQ3D player whose girlfriend makes incredible game-themed cakes. Yes, that absolutely counts!)
2. You MUST provide at least TWO “Work-In-Progress / WIP” photos
To keep the contest fair and fun for everyone, every entry must include:
✌️ A minimum of 2 WIP photos showing your baking or decorating process
🙌 Any number of finished dessert photos
Examples of WIP photos:
* Mixing batter
* Cutting shapes
* Baking trays going in/out of the oven
* Decorating with icing or fondant
* Assembling parts of the dessert
Real bakers ~always~ snap WIPs; not only are Works in Progress fun to see, but they also show all the love (and calories!) you put into your creation!
3. Bakery-bought goods are NOT allowed
No bakery desserts, no purchased cakes, and nothing that was not made in your real kitchen. Everything edible must be made by you or your crew. Of course you can use store-bought cake mixes, frosting, and other ingredients, but your dessert must be made in your kitchen.
This contest is meant to shine a spotlight on you, your imagination, and your oven! So please, let the only cheating here be licking cake batter off the spoon (I’m a certifiable batter-licking fiend, btw).
Step 1: Start. Your. Ovens!
Create, bake, and decorate your homemade AE-inspired dessert(s). Remember to take at least 2 WIPs / Work in Progress photos ~before~ your entry is complete!
Step 2: Prepare Your Name Card
Next to your dessert, include a card that clearly shows:
👑 Your In-Game Name (IGN)
🎮 The game your character is from
🗓️ The year
Example:

Step 3: Take Photos
Your entry must include:
1. At least 2 WIP photos
2. Finished dessert photos (as many as you’d like)
3. Name card visible in at least 1 finished photo
Step 4: Submit on Socials, Discord, or Comments below
