Hey there, heroes!
This week, the AARGH system has been updated with new fights, rewards, and technology!
A selection of this year's arena challenges have been added to the AARGH system, along with a number of cosmetic rewards.
AARGH medal distribution has also been updated with new technology! After completing certain lengthier battles, when you return to the arena, you'll receive bonus Timewarped Medals! Instead of resetting unfavorable foes, you may want to try to defeat them for increased payouts. For example, a fight like Yalla will reward you with 1 extra medal, while facing Piotr will grant you 9 extra medals! Of course, these medal reward numbers can also be adjusted in the future as needed. As a result of these more dynamic rewards, fight weighting has been removed, and all challenges now have the same chance of being selected.
I'm sure you can imagine what kind of uses this new tech can have for the future as well...!
Some of the AARGH rewards this time also have a new format! Instead of 25 (or more) medals, this series will have some items that require 5 medals + 1 duo challenge reward/ For example, Galanoth's Cloak requires 5 Timewarped Medals + 1 Ethereal Dragonbane. There are other items, however, that only require Timewarped Medals!
Also, there has been an adjustment to DeathKnight weapon progression. Due to the relative ease of reaching full power from the Zeclem's Keep dungeon, the Zeclem's Keep Relic weapons have had their damage reduced from 95-100 to 90-100. Additionally, accessing the Zeclem's Keep rewards now requires finishing the dungeon at least once. However, three new merge rewards, the weapons of Malifact, Stabina, and Trelix are level 90 relic weapons with an average 97.5 damage range (same as before), have been added. These weapons are all considered scythes, their differences being apeparance and damage range, and require 1 Ancient Charm from the Betrayed Bonds challenge + a Zeclem's Keep relic weapon to obtain. These new upgrades can be obtained from a new Betrayed Bonds reward shop, and also require completion of Zeclem's Keep. This does mean that Zeclem's Keep has a new tracker added, so if you've completed it before, you will need to complete it again to access these restricted shops.
The goal of these changes is to provide a little more of a curve for endgame DeathKnight progression, while also incentivizing actually fighting Zeclem at least once rather than simply treasure hunting in the maze and never facing him.

Also this week, October seasonal items have returned with a new addition!
The Fancy Ghost's Cloak is available for 400 Dragon Coins and is color custom to your character's Base, Trim, and Dragon Eye colors!
