Hey there, heroes!
This week, the beginning of the Book 1 Orb saga has been updated with a new quest!

Following your defense of Falconreach from Frostscythe and his dragon, it appears Warlic finally has some information for you about what might be going on! But just as you get some answers, an urgent letter arrives from Aika Village. The Pirates and Ninjas are fighting each other again... and Aika Village is their battleground!
With what you've just learned, this can't be a coincidence. Speak to Ash in Book 1 Falconreach to hear what Warlic has to say, and then it's off to Aika Village once again!
This quest replaces the Pirates vs Ninjas war that was awkwardly originally awkwardly placed in the middle of the Wind Orb quests. It also serves as the jumping off point into the Orb Saga! The Treasure Golem boss fight and its consequences will be readded to the timeline at a later date.
With this release, the first part of the Book 1 Revisited project is complete. Events and wars that were formerly hidden in semi-canon zones (such as the Time Travel Fairy Statue) or otherwise disconnected are now tied directly into the storyline! From the start of the game up to the start of the Orb Saga, everythign should be nice and smooth and connected, now. The next part of the Book 1 Revisited project, addressing the Orb Saga and everything missing or needing smoothing there, will be put on hold until the Book 2 Reimagined project is finished. That said, we may revisit and clean up some minor things sometimes. We're always looking to improve the game, after all!
Also this week, a new Customization Catalyst is available for Kathool Adept!

The Uthuluc Acolyte Embrace weapon serves as a Customization Catalyst for Kathool Adept, unlocking the Uthuluc customization options! It can be purchased from the Customization Catalyst shop for 500 Dragon Coins.
Some previous weeks' items have been adjusted:
DragonSlayer has also received some bug fixes and balance adjustments!
Bug Fixes:
Balance adjustments:
The overall point of these changes is to make Counterattack a little less free. You can no longer quickly stack both Instinct and Analysis by chaining Counters/Counter Stance, and Counterattacks will now occasionally need to be paired with an additional Bonus buff in order to land hits against defensive monsters. DragonSlayer is also a little less durable overall. Of course, changes may still be implemented as things settle!
And that's all 4 this week!
