We are going to PAX!

The team is taking AdventureQuest Worlds: Infinity to demo at  PAX East 2023 this month!

Our Quest

For the first time ever, we will be showing off a working version of AdventureQuest Worlds: Infinity. For a long while we have been rebuilding AdventureQuest Worlds into a cross-platform online world. A world that will allow you to login with your existing character and still have your items. New heroes are welcome too. The game is not finished by any means, but it IS ready for players to start seeing it in action. We will be bringing an Apple iPad, an Android Tablet, phones, and a few computers to demo it at the convention. Players on all of the different devices will be able to play together, chat, exploring town, and take on the Dragon's Lair.

What is PAX?

The convention takes place March 23-26 in Boston, Massachusetts.

"PAX East is a celebration of gaming and gaming culture featuring thought-provoking panels, a massive expo hall filled with the best publishers and studios, new game demos, musical performances, tournaments, and a community experience unlike any other."

The Artix Entertainment & AQWorlds:Infinity Booth

We will be running a double-wide booth at the convention. Half will be for AQWorlds:Infinity and the other half for all of the other Artix Entertainment stuff :D

Who from the team will be there?

This is our very first PAX experience! Our current roster includes Dage, Zhoom, Jongaar, Despair, & Artix.  If you want anything signed, a selfie, or just want to say hi we are looking forward to meeting you. This convention does have a mask required policy. I was trying to get Dage to 3D print us some fancy face plates to wear, but I do not think he has the time with all the legion stuff he is working on this month.

Panels and other things!

Some of my 8-Bit NES Dev friends will be there too. Including the 6502 Assembly Language super coder, Dale Coop who worked with me on Dungeons & DoomKnights. I am scheduled to be on at least one panel about making NES games on Friday.  Will post a full schedule here when we get more information. A week after PAX, I will be running a booth at Midwest Gaming Classic in Milwaukee.

Panel: NES Maker! Friday @ 3:30pm at Bobcat Theater

Special Convention Item... for everyone?

We are building a special convention item. But we do not want anyone to miss out. So we are creating a code that can be shared. Anyone who gets the code from us at the convention can share it online for anyone who could not make it.

More information will be posted here as it becomes available.
